SOMETHING OUT OF NOTHING

Today’s Scripture“The earth was formless and void...Then God said, ‘Let there be light’...”
(Genesis 1:2–3, NASB) Something Out of Nothing
Are you believing God for something today that seems impossible?
We serve a great and mighty God, and He can create something out of nothing. He can make a way when there seems to be no way! Genesis tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. But before He spoke the world into existence, it was formless and void. If God can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, too! He can speak light into your darkest hour. He can take your formless dreams and give them shape. He can resurrect your dormant gifts and talents! He can make your crooked places straight!
Remember, you are created in the image of Almighty God. There’s power in your words, and there’s power when you’re in agreement with Him. Start saying what God says about your situation. Speak life to your broken dreams today. Stay in an attitude of faith and expectancy and embrace victory all the days of your life!
A Prayer for Today“Father, I trust that You are willing and able to make a way where there seems to be no way in my life. Fill me with Your peace and faith and give me a vision for all You have for me in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
wish you all a super prosperous new month

ARE MEN IN SUIT THE REAL BOSS?

It look so good when you see a fully- fledged  man dressed in his 3-piece suit on a Monday morning in a corporate set-up, flaunting his masculine ego as if the world is under his feet. Judging by the outward appearance, such people are seen as the social elite, the big boss or men hanging on the highest of their echelon, but hey! Have you really thought about this question? Who is the real boss?
Before dabbling into this let’s check out some real life scenarios.
Not too long ago in Nigeria, a set of graduates, master’s degree and P.H.D holders were recruited and trained as drivers in one of the companies owned by the richest man in Africa (Dangote).  Microsoft Corporation has thousands of gentlemen working long hours despite the owner dropped out from school. And Linda Ikeji, an extra ordinary young, beautiful, charismatic and bright entrepreneur who ranked high on the level of those who used their laptop and internet modem to become very rich.
In the corporate arena, there are so many rich hard workers but unfortunately become poor just few years after they are out of active service. Now back to the question I asked earlier, who is the real boss?
The real boss is the man that births the idea that sustains the man the social stratum tagged as the boss. But who is he?
The real boss may not display a fleet of suits, comes out with that very gorgeous and intimidating look. He might not even be that eloquent, but here are some few important things to know about him.
1.       He knows his strength, weaknesses, opportunities and threat and how to turn them around to achieve his goals.
2.       He knows when not and when to take that investment.
3.       He is an entrepreneur.
4.       He might not speak fluently but all races understands his action. There was a time Daewoo Racer’s boss was asked in an interview “how he was able to cut across all backgrounds and races despite his language barrier” and he replied, “Money understands all languages”.
5.       He is driven by a vision (sees the end from the beginning).
6.        He wears a shirt but pays the man in a suit because  he owns the business.
7.       Ability to settle his bills whether in active service or not.
8.       He is motivated by his vision and not money.
9.       The real boss may not be social, but the social media can’t have enough of him.
10.   The real boss is the man in a shirt (entrepreneur) with ideas people are dying to pay for with the man in suit (employee) implementing and developing the ideas
11.   He is ready to leave that steady pay cheque and take the risk of starting a business.
12.   He has liberty because he owns the business.
13.   The man in shirt can boast of fleet of businesses while the man in suit can only boast of fleet of exotic cars.
14.   He doesn't work for money, rather money works for him.
15.   He breaks away from the status-quo while the man in a shirt follows the trend.

I haven’t set out to castigate the corporate world, never misconstrue me. In fact, much of my success can be credited to the dimension. However, my motive is to open your mind and let you know there are more to explore beyond the corporate world.
